This blog post will explain how I have used my Social Media accounts to promote my blog posts. I will speak in detail about what steps I have undertaken to successfully get my blogs out to my targeted audiences.
Social Media Platforms
The social media platforms that I had used for promotional and supportive purposes were Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The Schedule
Before I had posted any blog posts I had made sure all the posts are ready to go. I decided to post during workdays, consecutively throughout the week, which I did from Monday to Friday. The reason I posted every day was to get maximum engagement from the audience. I had the posts scheduled to be posted between 5-7 pm. The reason for this timing would be because the targeted audience wouldn't be at work or school, which would allow them to freely view the post in their free time. My Target Audience mainly focuses on Artists, Creatives, Musicians, and Media Production students, all aged between 16-38.
Promoting The Upcoming Posts
When the Blog post was scheduled to be published, I was ready to make sure that the audience was aware that there is going to be new content published that day. I had published Promotional Posts that inform the audience there is going to be a new blog coming out later that day at a certain time. I had used the same technique for Facebook and Twitter, where I had to inform them with a written post of the upcoming blog, but with Instagram, I had used the 'Stories' to promote the upcoming post due to not being able to make a written post.

Publishing
Once the upcoming blog post was promoted on all the social media platforms, All I had to do is post the blog post at the scheduled time. When the blog post had gone live, I had already Prepared Promotional Posts for the social media platforms to inform everyone that the latest Blog Post had been published. I had also added a direct link to the post that leads straight to the newly published blog, so the audience has easy accessibility. This method was used for Facebook and Twitter.

Promoting on Instagram
With Instagram, I had approached the way of promoting in a different way due to the limitations. Instagram only allows Videos or Images with a caption as a post, implementing live links was not possible. I had taken a screenshot of the newly published post on the Money Moves website, and I had posted it as an image on Instagram.
The caption under the Instagram post informs the audience of the newly published post and gives information on where to find it. Hashtags were also used in the captions to reach more people that are interested in the topic.
